Overview
The Barracuda Reputation BlockList maintains lists of IP addresses for servers that are poorly configured, with open relays, or that have sent email or viruses to spam traps. The listings are at the IP address level.
How it works
When a message is received, the system analyzes the connection to determine if the connecting host is either an open relay or a node in a spam-sending botnet. If it is, the IP address of the connecting host is automatically added to the Barracuda Reputation Block List.
Thіѕ database is referenced by the Barracuda Sраm & Vіruѕ Fіrеwаll tо block or deliver a message to the recipient based оn the sender's IP address.
Remediation
There is support for manual requests to delist your IP Address from the Barracuda database. More information about delisting can be found at their website: https://barracudacentral.org/rbl/removal-request
