Overview
UCEPROTECTL3 (dnsbl-3.uceprotect.net) is uceprotect.net’s third level zone. If your IP falls within this large range of IP addresses, it typically means you have been there has been an un-remediated escalation of a level one and level two listing on IP addresses in proximity to the ones used for your delivery. Once the problematic IP addresses in this range are corrected the delisting should occur within seven days.
How it works
UCEPROTECTL3 lists IPs based on the following criteria:
- An escalation from a UCEPROTECTL1 and UCEPROTECTL2 listing that continues beyond 7 days.
- A level three listing may increase the range of IP addresses to cover the entire ISP
Remediation
UCEPROTECTL3 listings and delistings are automated so removal will typically happen automatically after corrections have been made and the UCEPROTECTL1and UCEPROTECTL2 listings on the associated IP addresses are no longer flagged.
